形態特徵

• Climbing plants to few meters long. Stems terete, glabrous, yellowish to reddish brown, ca. 5 mm thick; internodes 3-6 cm long; scales ovate-lanceolate, 1-2 cm long.
• Racemes or panicles to 30 cm long, glabrous; rachis often zigzag; floral bracts triangular, 2-3 mm long; pedicel and ovary 8-10 mm long. Flowers many, opening successively, yellowish white; dorsal sepal linear-oblong, 12-17 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, acute or obtuse; lateral sepals obliquely oblanceolate, 11-15 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, obtuse; petals linear-oblanceolate, 13-17 mm long, 2-3 mm wide; lip sessile, curved on lower sides, obovate when expanded, 10-12 mm long, 10 mm wide, obscurely 3-lobed, crisped on apical margin, disc with Yshaped thickened hairy ridge running from base to center, with horseshoe shaped hairy ridge near apex, with transversely parallel small ridges on each side of median ridges; column ca. 6 mm long; anther 1.5 mm tall; pollinia yellowish, obliquely ovoid, 0.5 mm long.
• Capsules dark red, filiform-cylindrical, 15- 25 cm long, 4 mm in diam. Seeds with nearly orbicular wing.

分布

• 台灣 : evergreen hardwoods at low elevations; climbing on tree trunks.
• 世界 : India, Thailand, Indochina, Malaysia, the Philippines, the Ryukyus and Indonesia.
